Musical Meditation and Gita Distillation

Join the Hindu Community of Northeastern for their weekly series. Every Monday in Ell Hall’s Sacred Space, the event starts with musical meditation followed by a summary and discussion of one of the chapters in the Bhagavad Gita. Dinner will be served afterward at 8:30 pm.

LMA Small Concert Series

The Live Music Association is hosting yet another concert in AfterHours, this time with Be Cool, Desiree McCann and headliner Kevin Garrett. He recently debuted his pop-soul EP Mellow Drama so be sure to be on the lookout for it during the show! Fun fact: Kevin recently co-wrote a Beyoncé song.

Relay for Life Zumbathon Kickoff

Work off that Thanksgiving turkey with a 90-minute, high-intensity Zumbathon! Tickets will be sold all week in Curry Crossroads from 11am – 1 pm for an early bird price of $5. You can also pay $7 at the door if you decide to go at the last minute. As always, all proceeds go toward our Relay event on March 24th, which benefits the American Cancer Society.

SoWa Winter Festival

Friday kicks off SoWa’s 3rd annual Winter Festival with a wide selection of holiday decorations, artisan foods and other handmade items. Don’t procrastinate on your Christmas shopping this year, because this place will have everything covered. Oh, and better yet, it happens to coincide with First Fridays, a monthly art studio crawl that features some of Boston’s most talented artists!
