For almost 3 years we’ve been posting additions to our NU Bucket list of all the things we think Northeastern students should do before they graduate! Now, we’ve finally hit #100 of our bucket list! We’ve gone through all 99 of our bucket list items and picked our top 5 things that you should cross off of your Northeastern bucket list, and here they are!

We have to start off our top 5 list with one of our favorite neighbors, the Museum of Fine Arts! There’s something for everyone at the MFA, as it has over 450,000 pieces of artwork spanning over 4 floors. With its closeness to campus and the fact that it’s FREE to all Northeastern students, there’s no reason for you not to get out and enjoy this incredible museum whenever you can!

4) NU Bucket List #53: The New England Aquarium and Boston Harbor

For great views of the ocean and of some of the creatures that inhabit it, head to the The New England Aquarium! The Aquarium has 14 unique exhibits to offer which allow you to get up close and personal with animals like stingrays, seals, and even sharks! Once you’re done exploring the Aquarium, you can step right outside to check out the sights and sounds of Boston Harbor.

3) NU Bucket List #71: SoWa Open Market

Every Sunday from May-October the SoWa Open Market is open in South Boston! The market features both local artisans selling handmade goods like jewelry and art along with local farmers selling produce, meats, and products like jam and honey. If you get hungry after all that shopping, you can head over to the Food Truck Bazaar and Beer Garden for food from some of Boston’s best food trucks and variety of hand picked craft beers, wines, and ciders!

2) NU Bucket List #93: Springfest

Original Post: http://bit.ly/2ur1gov

In honor of Spring arriving, the Council for University Programs (aka CUP) allows students to have one last hurrah before finals begin by hosting Springfest! Every year CUP brings musical talent, comedians, a carnival, and more to campus for this awesome week long event! The end of the week always culminates in the Springfest Concert in Matthews Arena. In years past artists like Kesha, Chance the Rapper, and Logic have all performed at the Springfest Concert. We can’t wait to see who CUP brings to campus next spring!

1) NU Bucket list #94: Afterhours

Original Post: http://bit.ly/2uS45ii

Afterhours may be one of our most favorite places on campus! In the day time you can use the Afterhours space for studying and grab a Starbucks, but at night you can enjoy a variety of different events and activities in the same space! Almost every week of the year you can find a concert featuring established musicians to Northeastern students happening on the Afterhours stage for free. If you’re looking for some laughs, you can also find a variety of improv groups frequenting the Afterhours stage. Afterhours is such a versatile space that truly every Northeastern student should explore at least once!

We have now reached the end of our NU Bucket list! Thank you so much for reading all these years, and remember to stay tuned on our social media (@NUstudentlife on twitter @huskystudentlife on instagram) to catch more weekly blog posts about student life on campus and in Boston!
