You don’t need to head all the way out to California to go to a great festival! This memorial day weekend, head to Boston’s incredible music festival, Boston Calling, in its new location at the Harvard Athletic Complex. The three day, multi-stage festival will be featuring some of the biggest names in music, comedy, and art!
This year, Boston Calling will feature over 40 singers and bands, mostly in the indie and pop rock genres. Its performers include Bon Iver, Mumford and Sons, Chance The Rapper, The 1975, Weezer, Solange and so many more amazing musical talents. Smaller acts get around under an hour to perform and are scheduled for earlier on in the festival. Headliners are reserved for the later or final performances of each night and get an hour or more of stage time.
The festival will also feature a comedy experience hosted by Hannibal Buress and featuring over a dozen comedians that will perform on their own separate stage throughout the festival. This year’s line up schedule will undoubtedly force festival goers to make some tough decisions, as, unlike in the past, several acts overlap. Check out the lineup schedule here.
Tickets are still available for 3 day and single day GA, 3 day and single day VIP, and 3 day platinum here. Boston Calling is a relatively new festival, but is growing and improving year after year. If you have the chance to go, Boston Calling will definitely be an experience you will not want to miss!
