Rose Kennedy Fitzgerald Greenway

Searching for a place to enjoy the outdoors as Summer quickly approaches? Then look no further than the Rose Kennedy Fitzgerald Greenway right here in Boston! The Greenway is composed of 5 main parks that stretch along the Boston harbor from the North End and all the way down into Chinatown. For beautiful green spaces, public art, picturesque views, yummy food trucks, and other fun free events, the Rose Kennedy Fitzgerald Greenway is the place to go.

Want to embrace your inner child? Why not take a ride on the Greenway Carousel for only $3! Or are you looking for something a little more exhilarating? Try The Z, the new, 220 feet long zip line that carries you along the Greenway from the Armenian Heritage Park to the North End Parks! Head to The Z from 11am-7pm Sunday-Thursday or 11am-9pm Friday-Saturday from now until Labor Day to enjoy a $8 ride.

The Greenway is also home to Boston’s first open-air Biergarten, the brand new Trillium Garden! Enjoy draft beers by Trillium Brewing Company and barreled wine by Westpoint Rivers Winery from 4-10pm Wednesday-Friday and 11am-10pm Saturday-Sunday. For all of your local shopping needs, head to the Greenway Open Market, an open air artisan market. Located at the Rings Fountain, the Greenway Open Market is open every first and third Sunday of the month from 11am-5pm!

You can also enjoy a variety of special events and activities that change from month to month at the Greenway. From cornhole tournaments, to yoga, to festivals, and outdoor movie showings, the Greenway’s special events are things you don’t want to miss!
