NU Bucket List #70: Fall Fest

What better way to celebrate the start of the Fall semester than to head out to one of our quads to enjoy Fall Fest 2017! This annual Welcome Week event brings the entire Northeastern community together for a day of fun all for FREE! Find out what makes Northeastern such a vibrant and special place from 11am-2pm on September 5th at Fall Fest.

Whether you’re a new student or a senior, it’s always nice to know how to get involved on campus! Lucky for you, hundreds of student organizations, campus departments, and sports teams will be at Fall Fest. Looking to join a fraternity or sorority? Head to Krentzman Quad for information! Interested in a performing arts or creative organization? Centennial is the place to go! To find out where other organizations and departments will be, click here.

Once you’re done learning all about student life at Northeastern, stick around for great music, giveaways, games and more! Grab a bunch of friends and play a game of mini golf or get matching henna tattoos. Be sure to bring a change of clothes, because you can also find a giant slip ‘n slide right in the middle of Centennial Quad! Then, head to one of the many photo booths around campus to commemorate the day!

Think all those activities will make you hungry? Not to worry, because Fall Fest will be home to a “taste of Boston”! Experience a taste of the great food Boston has to offer from places like the Boston Waterfront, North End, Fenway Park, and Chinatown. Head to Centennial Quad for foods from the North End, then walk just a few steps to get to West Village Quad for foods from Chinatown. Get a taste of Fenway in Cabot Quad and find foods from the Waterfront in Robinson Quad!

Every week, we post one more thing you MUST do before you graduate Northeastern. Tag us in/tweet us a picture of you doing our thing of the week, and you could get featured on our twitter or instagram, or win some pretty awesome prizes (including your favorite Husky swag)! #NUbucketlist
