NU Bucket List #78: Parent and Family Weekend

It’s that time of year again! Parent and Family Weekend is this weekend and is the best time for your loved ones to visit our amazing campus! Through a variety of events going on all weekend long, your parents and family will be introduced to Northeastern’s staff and campus, and a variety of Boston hot spots. Read on to learn how to take advantage of all the awesome events happening during Parent and Family Weekend!
There are so many great events going on throughout Parent and Family Weekend, both on and off campus! If you registered for Parent and Family Weekend, you can enjoy things like a Duck Tour or a tour of Fenway Park to show your relatives around the city. Don’t want to go far from campus? Check out the Women’s Ice Hockey game vs. Providence on Sunday or the Men’s Ice Hockey game vs UMASS Lowell, if you registered in advance!

Didn’t get the chance to register? There are still plenty of free events that don’t require pre-purchased tickets. See John Quinones, ABC News Veteran and host of “What Would You Do” speak about his life’s journey for free at 2pm on Saturday! Is your sibling coming to visit? Be a part of the Sibling Scavenger hunt with them! Then head to the Family Fall Festival right after for fall treats and pumpkin painting!
