The Fashion and Retail Society is bringing Holly Nichols, an instagram famous fashion illustrator to Northeastern! With over 535K followers, she has amassed a loyal following of her fashion-themed sketches which make even the most amazing outfits look better.

Halloween Movie Night

Trick or treat, smell my feet, give me something good to eat! RSA and UNICEF will be showing The Addams Family with hot chocolate and popcorn in AfterHours. Details in the Facebook event!

Herstory: Exploring the Intersection of Women & HIV Then and Now

Join The Fenway Institute, Fenway Women’s Health, and the LGBT Aging Project for the first of a two part series, Herstory: Exploring the Intersection of Women and HIV, Then and Now. Using first person narrative, Herstory will provide critical attention to the nuance of gender, race, and economic status.

Thursday, October 27th

Free Screening: Moonlight

Who doesn’t love free movies? The AMC Theater in Boston Commons will be showing a free advanced screening of the breakout film Moonlight, chronicling the life of a young black man into adulthood. Tickets are available on the Facebook event, but get there early as seating isn’t guaranteed.

Friday, October 28th

Boston Book Fair

Sometimes all you need is a cup of tea or coffee and an old book to get lost in. The 40th annual Boston International Antiquarian Book Fair features some of the rarest books in the world. Entrance on Saturday and Sunday are free, but advance preview tickets for Friday are $20.
