October 28th: SoWa Spooktacular!

Enjoy the last SoWa Open Market of the season at their SoWa Spooktacular event! All weekend long you can paint pumpkins for free, decorate spooky cupcakes, listen to live music, and enter in a costume contest. Be sure to check it out because this awesome market won’t be returning full time until the Spring!

October 29th: Central Scare at the Central Flea

Head over to Cambridge to enjoy the final day of the season for another great market, The Central Flea! Enter in a costume contest, shop at over 160 vendors, carve pumpkins, and listen to live music all for free.

October 30th: UNICEF Halloween Trivia Night

Northeastern UNICEF is hosting a Halloween Trivia Night in Afterhours! Grab your friends and answer Halloween themed trivia from 8-10pm. Winning teams will receive gift cards!

October 31st: Halloween Rocky Horror Picture Show

Celebrate Halloween with the Full Body Cast at a special screening of the Rocky Horror Picture Show! Enjoy an original pre-show featuring the talented acting group the Full Body Cast! The showing will begin at 10pm at the AMC Loews Theater. Tickets and be purchased at any movie ticket website!

November 1st: Día de los Muertos Open House and Evening Celebration

Take a trip out to Cambridge to celebrate La Dia de los Muertos with the Peabody Museum of Archaeology and Ethnology! Remember your departed loved ones, try delicious Mexican hot chocolate, and see a presentation by Harvard Professor David Carrasco. This event is free but requires tickets that can be ordered here.  

November 2nd: IFF Boston Screening Series: Dee Ree’s Mudbound

Check out a screening of the latest film in the IFF Boston’s Screening Series, Dee Ree’s Mudbound! The screening will be held at 7pm at AMC Boston Common. Admission is free but passes are required that can be downloaded here.

November 3rd: 31st Annual Boston Christmas Festival

It’s never too early to start preparing for Christmas! Head over to the Seaport World Trade Center for the 31st Annual Boston Christmas Festival to start your holiday shopping now! Shop around for hand-made holiday decor, yummy holiday snacks, and see a gingerbread competition all throughout the weekend! Entry to the event is $13 and passes can be purchased here.
