February 15th: Kisasa: 2020 Africa Night
Don’t miss the Northeastern African Student Organization’s annual Africa Night, a celebration of Africa and African culture! This year’s show has the theme Kisasa, a Swahili word meaning modern, by highlighting fashion, dance, and music from all over Africa. The show will start at 6:30 and will be held in Blackman. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased on MyTickes.
February 16th: Lū’au 2020
Join HONU for their fifth annual Lu’au! There will be ‘ono Hawaiian food, fun games and prizes, and performances from Northeastern student groups, BU’s Hawaiian Cultural Association, and Hui Lehua, a New England-based halau. The event will be held in the Fenway Center and will start at 7pm. Entry is free and tickets are available on MyTickets!
February 17th: Monday Meditation
Need some time to recharge on your day off? Join NU Hillel at the Sacred Space at 5pm for a free guided meditation!
February 18th: LMA Originals Showcase Part 2
The LMA is putting on another showcase in Afterhours featuring original music from Northeastern artists! The show will start at 6:30 and entry is free!
February 19th: Living Off Campus Info Session
Haven’t found a place to live off campus yet? Off Campus Housing and Support Services is hosting another info session about moving off campus! Get advice on picking a realtor, what to look out for in a lease, and free food! The info session will start at 6:30 and will be held in 409 Robinson.
February 20th: CUP & LMA Present: STL GLD w/ Cliff Notez
Head to Afterhours to show your support for local artists STL GLD and Cliff Notez! Entry is free and doors open at 6:30pm.
February 21st: Mary Stuart
Don’t miss a performance of Mary Stuart, a play featuring the infamous clash between Queen Elizabeth I and Mary Queen of Scots, in the Studio Theatre in Ell Hall! The show will start at 8pm and due to the setup of the theater, no late entry will be allowed. Tickets are $12 and can be purchased on MyTickets!
