February 16th: NUStage Presents: If You Can’t Love Yourself (Cabaret)

Head to Afterhours to catch NUStage’s February cabaret, If You Can’t Love Yourself! The show features music that has a theme of self-empowerment and self-love. Entry is free and the show will begin at 8!

February 17th: Chinatown’s 2019 Lion Dance Parade

Continue your celebration of the Year of the Pig at Chinatown’s 2019 Lion Dance Parade. The parade will start at 10am and all performances will begin on stage in Phillips Square in Chinatown. For some Chinese music, art, and crafts, you can head to the CCBA’s Culture Village at 90 Tyler Street from 11-2!

February 18th: NU UTSAV SAW Presents: In Conversation with Irene Khan

In honor of NU UTSAV South Asian Week, you can enjoy a conversation with Irene Khan! Khan is a South Asian media influencer, makeup artist, and lifestylist, and she will be talking about her South Asian identity, career, and more! The event will be held in the Raytheon Amphitheater and doors will open at 6:30. Tickets are free and are available on myNortheastern!

February 19th: CUP Presents: Sam Morril

Enjoy a night of laughs in Blackman Auditorium with comedian Sam Morril! Morril is an established comedian who has appeared on shows like CONAN and The Late Show with Stephen Colbert! Doors to the show will open at 6:30 and you can get your free tickets on myNortheastern.

February 20th: Break the Silence Spring 2019  

Active Minds at Northeastern’s Break the Silence event is returning to Afterhours. This event serves as a safe space for people to talk about their experiences with mental health and/or mental illness. The event will be from 7-8:30 pm. Contact Active Minds at Northeastern on their Facebook page if you are interested in sharing your story.

February 21st: CUP & LMA Present: Still Woozy & Charlie Burg

Head to Afterhours to enjoy performances by Still Woozy and Charlie Burg! The show will be free to Northeastern students and a plus one. Doors will open at 6:30 and the show will start at 7!

February 22nd: Northeastern Get Yourself Tested Day 2019

Northeastern’s Get Yourself Tested Day is returning for its second year! NU SHARE, in collaboration with Northeastern Sigma Delta Tau, AIDS Healthcare Foundation, and Boston Alliance for LGBTQ+ Youth, will be providing confidential and FREE HIV, Hepatitis-C, Gonorrhea, Syphilis, and Chlamydia testing to all Northeastern students. Testing will be done in the Snell Basement Classrooms anytime between 11am-5:30pm.
