September 29th: Tastemakers Presents Tancred & Queen of Jeans

Tastemakers is bringing Tancred and Queen of Jeans to Afterhours for an incredible night of music! Doors will open at 6:30 and the show is free to all Northeastern students!

September 30th: Smoke This Ribfest

Just a short walk from the Lechmere stop will be Cambridge’s 9th annual Smoke this Ribfest! There, you can enjoy delicious BBQ, live music, and more from 12-4pm! Tickets to this event are available here.

October 1st: Rainbow Flag Raising

Head to Centennial Common for SGA and the LGBTQA Resource Center’s annual rainbow flag raising at 11am! Following some brief speakers, you can enjoy some light breakfast snacks!  

October 2nd: CUP Presents Chris Gethard

Enjoy a night of stand up comedy with actor, comedian, and writer Chris Gethard! The show will be held in Blackman and doors open at 6:30. Tickets are free and available on myNortheastern!

October 3rd Traffic Stop: Documentary Screening and Filmmaker Discussion

Join NUSL’s Center for Public Interest Advocacy and Collaboration and the Black Law Students Association to watch a special screening of Traffic Stop, an Oscar-nominated short film! After the screening, there will be a discussion about the film and the relevance of its subject matter in today’s society. The screening will be held in 250 Dockser hall and will start at 5:30pm.

October 4th Fake Science with ImprovBoston

Calling all improv fans! ImprovBoston is taking over the Hayden Planetarium at the Museum of Science for a night that combines comedy, music, art and more! The show begins at 7:30 and tickets are available here.

October 5th: ICA First Fridays

Head over to the ICA from 5-9pm for a night of art, cocktails, and music by DJ Nighthawk! Starting at 6pm you can also head upstairs to see runway inspired performances by ToUch Performance Art featuring looks by Project Runway designer Kelly Dempsey. Tickets to this 21+ event can be purchased here.
