The Fall semester has arrived! Want to know what to do when you’re Out and About this semester? Check back in every Friday to our Out and About series where you can learn about all the fun, cheap, and exciting events happening for the week around Boston or right here on campus!

September 7th: NUStage Presents: Two Truths and a Lie

Head to the Curry Ballroom to see NUstage perform their summer revue, Two Truths and a Lie! The revue will feature songs that explore the way deceit and lies can impact people, through both the eyes of the liar and the victim. There will be a performance at 2:30pm and a performance at 8pm. Tickets are free for Northeastern students and are available on myNortheastern! 

September 7th & 8th: The Boston Arts Festival The Boston Arts Festival is back! All weekend long from 11am-6pm over 70 local visual artists, crafts people, and musicians will be showing off their work and performing at the Christopher Columbus Waterfront Park. Entry to the festival is free! 

September 9th: RSA Fall Recruitment BBQ 

Want to learn more about RSA? Head to the West Village Quad from 6-8pm for some free food and the chance to get to know RSA a little better! 

September 10th: NU Ballroom Presents: At The Copa

Calling all dancers and dance lovers! NU Ballroom will be hosting a free salsa lesson on top of a dance performance in the Curry Ballroom! No prior dance experience is required. The event will begin at 8pm and entry is free! 

September 11th: Sustainability, Bike, and Light Fair 

The Sustainability, Bike, and Light Fair is back for its 10th year! Stop by the Snell Library Quad from 11am-2pm to enter raffles, grab bike safety equipment, get minor bike repairs, and more! You can also bring up to 10 old incandescent or halogen lamps to be recycled and get a free LED light!

September 12th: NEU KPL x BCT present: Dunk Tank!

Join NEU KPL and BCT for a charity Dunk Tank event from 2-6 in the Snell Quad! 1 throw will cost $3 and 2 throws will cost $5. If you can successfully dunk the sisters of KPL or brothers of BCT, you win a free t-shirt! All proceeds will be donated to the American Heart Association and the Asian Task Force Against Domestic Violence!

September 13th: Museum of Science College Night

The Museum of Science’s college night is back! From 5-9pm all month long college students can explore the Exhibit Halls of the Museum for free! There will also be a discount on the new BODY WORLDS & the Cycle of Life exhibit, with entry being only $8.
