August 17th: One Normal Night with Andrew Lippa

Calling all theater fans! NU Stage is hosting a live virtual Q&A with Andrew Lippa, Tony and Grammy nominated composer of The Addams Family! While the event is free, everyone in attendance is encouraged to donate to the Dramatists Guild Foundation on behalf of NuStage and Mr. Lippa. The Q&A will start at 6:30pm and can be joined at this Zoom link

August 18th: Black Lives Matter Virtual Show

CUP, Green Line Records, the Live Music Association, and Tastemakers are bringing Smino to perform on Microsoft Teams! After Smino’s performance, Boston local Oompa (@oompoutloud) will be moderating a Q&A. The show will serve to promote several organizations that power the Black Lives Matter movement, and attendees are encouraged to donate to any of the organizations listed here. The event will start at 8pm and the Microsoft Teams link will be posted at 7:30pm here

August 19th: Owning Your Student Identity While Crafting Your Professional Identity

How can you take what you’re studying and leverage it to make you stand out while finding a job? In this workshop hosted by the Office of Global Services, you can learn about ways to identify what has made you special as a student, your student identity, and how this can translate into your professional identity. August 20th: Ask a Linguist! 

Curious about language? As part of the Northeastern Linguistics Program’s Summer Linguistics Series, you can attend a virtual Q&A session with professional linguists to ask questions about linguistics and language! This workshop will start at 4pm and can be joined here.
