May 18th: “Writing as Healing: Of Being Numerous” with Emmalea RussoDon’t miss the last workshop in the Writing Center’s ‘Writing as Healing During Covid-19” series, featuring author Emmalea Russo! This week-long workshop will dive into George Oppen’s epic objectivist poem “Of Being Numerous” through a series of writing prompts. To register, click here!
May 19th: UHCS Virtual Depression and Anxiety Group
UHCS is moving their summer support groups online. If you are experiencing ongoing symptoms of depression and anxiety, this group can be a useful tool in healing and promoting your wellbeing. In this group, you will connect with peers who experience similar symptoms, learn strategies to support your mental health, and share in supporting one another in a safe and confidential space. The group will be held weekly from 6:30-7:30pm through the summer.
