October 21st: Break the Silence
Active Minds’ semesterly Break the Silence event is going virtual this Fall. You can sign up here to join in to a Zoom call to tell a story, read a poem or use any other format to talk about your experiences with mental health and/or mental illness. This event is 100% confidential and will be held at 8pm.
October 22nd: What The Civil Rights Movement Accomplished: An Evening With Michael Meltsner
NU Honors is bringing veteran civil rights attorney and former dean of the Northeastern School of Law, Michael Meltsner, to a virtual conversation about his experiences. The event will start at 6pm and you can register to attend here.
October 23rd: Managing Your Mental Health and Well Being
Feeling stressed and overwhelmed? This Global Learner Support workshop will help you define experiences of mental disruption, suggest coping mechanisms and skills, and explore mental health programs and resources offered by Northeastern. October 24th TEDxNortheastern: Fast Forward, A Different Future
The annual TEDxNortheastern event is back! From 12-5pm, tune in to this live virtual conference to hear TED talks given by a variety of passionate speakers, including members of the Northeastern community, and engage in interactive workshops.
