It’s the weekend! Read on for info about the best events going on around campus and in Boston every weekend all summer long!

August 18th-20th: The Fisherman’s Feast

Since 1910, the Fisherman’s Feast has been held in the North End annually each August. The Feast is based on a tradition from 16th century Sicily and is the oldest continuously running Italian festival in the North End. Enjoy entertainment, food, and crafts all weekend long, and make sure to be there on Sunday night with the “Flight of the Angel”!

August 18th: Marshfield Fair

This weekend marks the beginning of the 10 day Marshfield Fair at the Marshfield Fairgrounds on Boston’s South Shore! On the 18th and 19th, you can enjoy a Civil War reenactment, a parade celebrating the 150th Marshfield Fair, carnival rides, food, and other entertainment at the festival. Tickets are only $10 and children 6 and under get in for free!

August 19th: Brew at the Zoo

Want to experience a beer-tasting surrounded by gorillas, zebras, and kangaroos? Then head to the Franklin Park Zoo from 4-7:30pm this Saturday! Enjoy beers from over 30 different local breweries and restaurants while wandering around the entire zoo. Tickets for this 21+ event can be purchased here, and proceeds will be going to benefit Zoo New England.

August 20th: Ipswich on D

Ipswich Ale and Brewery is taking over the Lawn on D! From 1-5pm check out the Ipswich Tapmobile, the Traveling Tidepools from the New England Aquarium, listen to live music, and play lawn games. The event is also totally FREE!
