The CIE is a justice-oriented space on campus that works to build socially conscious communities across difference. We host engaging programs, dialogues, and affinity groups to promote opportunities for intersectional identity development through a lens of social justice.

Center for Spirituality, Dialogue & Service

The Center for Spirituality, Dialogue and Service/Spiritual Life offers transformative experiences of spiritual exploration, interreligious dialogue, and service learning across Northeastern’s global university system. With 50 student groups, Northeastern supports people of every global spiritual, religious, and secular humanist tradition. Through sacred seasons and holiday observances, daily mindfulness and spiritual practices, interfaith dialogues, global citizenship pilgrimages, civic engagement, and artistic expression, CSDS cultivates a culture of belonging, wellness, and mutual understanding.

John D. O’Bryant African American Institute

The John D. O’Bryant African American Institute plays a significant role in supporting students of the African Diaspora at Northeastern University and is a global and thought leader in advancing diversity and inclusion. Committed to student development, the Institute seeks to instill a sense of academic excellence, entrepreneurship, and service to the Northeastern community, African Diaspora, and the world.

LGBTQA Center

The LGBTQA Resource Center strives to empower and holistically support queer and trans students, providing information, support, community space, programming and resources to LGBTQIA2S+ and questioning students.

LatinX Student Cultural Center

The Latinx Student Cultural Center (LSCC) provides student support and leadership and identity development through a social justice lens. Our values of orgullo, cultura y familia (pride, culture and family/community), are the core of the center’s foundation as we collectively explore, develop and celebrate the vibrant and diverse intersectional identities of our community in a manner that ultimately becomes an unshakeable foundation for students

Social Justice Resource Center

The SJRC is a hub of innovative, justice-minded leadership and social action on campus. This work is done through coalition building, developing and maintaining strategic partnerships, and creating a space where collective student power is elevated.
